John Smith

Founder & CEO

She brings over 15 years of experience as an owner of The Rigby, along with a background in management and marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she also competed as a student-athlete. Angie is passionate about helping small businesses, especially women-owned businesses, build clear systems, reduce owner workload, and grow sustainably.

Avery Potter

Marketing Intern

She has worked closely with Internera’s CEO, Angie Ziehme, for several years and has been part of the company since its inception.

Currently serving as Marketing Manager, Avery acts as the primary point of contact for clients, oversees marketing operations, and recruits, trains, and leads high performing teams. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time on the lake.

Michael specializes in market research, strategic planning, and project implementation.

Griffin Selin

Social Media & Marketing Intern

Griffin is a consumer behavior and marketplace studies major. During my time at UW-Madison I've worked on the marketing team for a club called ECHO as well as recently became a social media & marketing intern for Internera.

What We Offer

Internera provides hands-on consulting services designed specifically for small businesses that need support but don’t have the time or budget for traditional agencies. Our work is powered by trained university interns and guided by professional oversight, allowing us to deliver real execution at an affordable price point.

We support businesses with marketing and digital presence, including website design and optimization, SEO setup, Google Business Profile management, social media strategy and posting, online calendars, and review management. Our goal is to help businesses show up consistently and professionally online while driving measurable growth.

Internera offers paid, real-world internship opportunities for university students who want hands-on experience in a professional consulting environment. Interns work directly with real clients and take ownership of projects across marketing, operations, strategy, accounting, events, and management.

Our interns don’t just assist — they lead, collaborate, and execute meaningful work that builds confidence and career-ready skills. Through mentorship, feedback, and team leadership opportunities, students gain experience that goes beyond the classroom and into the real business world.
